“Over analysis can lead to paralysis”, so why do we over-analyze situations? Always remember you are not on your own with whatever issue you have right now. You share challenges and imperfections with your fellow human beings. We all make mistakes, but always keep in mind worse things happen to others. You need to mind yourself and not beat yourself up.
For me, my hope for you as we move into 2nd half of this year is for a healthier future for all and a return towards normal and post-pandemic growth. New insights, fresh perspectives and hope for a society that leaves nobody behind.
Once you decide for change and believe that you are capable of change and development, some form of behaviour change is required.
Once you make that decision to take action, change will begin, the amount of change that will happen will depend on the amount of actions you take.
A survey carried out recently has revealed that 70% of Irish people make an average of two to three New Year resolutions as they ring in the New Year. However, the majority of those resolutions don’t even make it through the first week and by the end of the first month two thirds of them will be broken.
Procrastination dooms most of us at some stage of our lives. Overcoming this complex human problem takes more than a “just do it” slogan to fix. You can start today to give yourself that winning edge by using time you’d ordinarily spend procrastinating to productively pursuing new opportunities. You will gain more ground in your search whilst others procrastinate.
